Stopped by Jinya in Oakridge Mall on a Saturday around 4 PM and had a solid experience. I ordered the Tonkotsu Black and three Pork Chashu Bowl, and they were quite good! The ramen broth was rich and creamy, with just the right kick of garlic. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the toppings added a great balance of texture and flavor. The service was efficient and friendly. If you're craving ramen, Jinya is worth checking out!
Overpriced, but good solid ramen. Their ramens are around $19 and if you add a $10 item, you're looking at $36 after tax/tip for 1 person. I recommend their Jinya Tonkotsu Black Ramen. Service was fast and efficient. Note : The cushioned seats in the back of the store are badly set. If someone is fidgeting, it'll shake everyone's seats.
It was really good! I definitely finished the whole thing lol. The only thing was the wait time to get seated and to get our food. Service was pretty okay though. The ambience seemed very lively with everyone with their dates and families doing their own thing and enjoying their time. * Noodles, soup, and wontons 8/10 overall * Watermelon Delight drink 5/10 was probably my least favorite thing there, it did not have that refreshing taste that I was looking forward to and the mint kinda overpowered it and was not sweet, and me personally I like my stuff sweet lol * Chicken in the soup 8.5/10 * Chicken Griya 10/10
The creamy Vegan ramen delivers!! It's so flavorful, the noodles are the perfect thickness, and the fresh garlic that you can order with a bowl adds so much to the bowl. If you are looking for pork ramen, still order the creamy vegan ramen with added pork Chachu, my husband loved it! Service was very quick and the wait was only 10 mins on a Sunday lunch! Highly recommend this ramen place.
Jinya makes tasty ramen. This location's main eating area is outdoors on the side of Oakridge mall (near the movie theater). It's completely covered with overhead space heaters. Service here can be hit or miss depending on your server - but lately it's been more careless and not friendly. The appetizers are good - we've tried the impossible buns (4.5/5) and spicy tuna tacos (4/5 bc they're super mini). The only thing I would not recommend is the seaweed salad - it really was a bowl full of salad greens with a tiny amount of seaweed on top. Otherwise, the spicy chicken ramen is worth coming back for and my partner loves the vegan harvest ramen!
